Iranian forces say they have struck a US naval base in Manama, as Iran launched missile attacks throughout the Middle East in response for a large-scale and continuing assault against it by the United States and Israeli forces.

Officials reported wreckage landed in a populated district in Abu Dhabi, causing some material damage and fatalities.

The United States Air Force operates from Al Dhafra Air Base, to the south of the Emirati capital, along with the UAE Air Force.
